Με τον τραγικό θάνατο του νεαρού κιθαρίστα Randy Rhoads στο δυστύχημα με το μικρό αεροπλάνο στην Αμερική, ο Double-O επιστράτευσε τον εταίρο νεαρό τότε Jake E. Lee και αφού ηχογράφησε επίσημα λόγω δικαιωμάτων στην εταιρεία του πεθερού του Arden (ή ίσως κι από απωθημένο για το Live Evil των Black Sabbath) το δικό του ζωντανό άλμπουμ μόνο με κομμάτια Black Sabbath το Speak of the Devil (1982), έβαλε μπροστά για αυτό, το τρίτο αυτό, παρά πολύ καλό στούντιο άλμπουμ του μαζί με τον Don Airey σε πλήκτρα (πρώην Rainbow), τον ήδη γνωστό όχι μόνο για την αφάνα του ντράμερ Tommy Aldridge και τον ακόμα γνωστότερο μπασίστα Bob Daisley . Αν θυμάμαι καλά στο LP τα γράμματα του τίτλου και το λογότυπο ήταν μπλέ κίτρινα κι όχι κόκκινα όπως στο CD, πάντως το περιεχόμενο μουσικά το πιάνει απ' εκεί που το άφησε στο Diary of A Madman (1981). Το αγαπημένο μου Center of Eternity κομμάτι από εδώ το μνημονεύω πάντα. Μαζί το ομώνυμο Bark At The Moon, τα Now You See it (Now You Don't), Waiting For Darkness, Slow Down και το You're No Different to Me που είναι να χαρακτηριστικότερα κομμάτια του δίσκου.

Following the tragic death of the young guitarist Randy Rhoads in a plane crash in America, Double-O (Ozzy Osbourne) enlisted another young talent, Jake E. Lee. Afterward, due to legal rights with his father-in-law Arden's company (and possibly out of frustration over Black Sabbath's *Live Evil*), Ozzy recorded his own live album, *Speak of the Devil* (1982), featuring only Black Sabbath tracks.

With that out of the way, he began work on this, his third studio album, which turned out to be an excellent effort. He was joined by Don Airey on keyboards (formerly of Rainbow), the already well-known drummer Tommy Aldridge (notable for his iconic afro), and the even more famous bassist Bob Daisley.

If I remember correctly, the LP version had blue and yellow letters for the title and logo, unlike the red on the CD version. Musically, the album picks up right where *Diary of a Madman* (1981) left off. My favorite track from the album, *Center of Eternity*, is one I always mention. Other standout tracks include the title track *Bark at the Moon*, *Now You See It (Now You Don't)*, *Waiting for Darkness*, *Slow Down*, and *You're No Different to Me*—all characteristic pieces of the record.
