Fabulae Dramatis - Violenta ( Progressive / Latin Metal )

Fabulae Dramatis is set to release their third full-length album, "Violenta," on September 5, 2024, through Dramatis Music and Arts, an independent label. The album, produced by Martín Furia, Gustavo Valderrama, and the band members themselves, showcases their evolution into a Progressive/Latin Metal style. Known for their heavy world music that blends intensity with an intimate sound, Fabulae Dramatis has previously released two albums: "Om" (2012) and "Solar Time’s Fables" (2017).

The band has received numerous accolades, including the ‘Best Dance Music Video’ at the Cannes Film Awards 2023 and ‘Best Costume’ at the Rome Music Video Awards 2021. They were also recognized for ‘Best Sound & Music’ at the Wild Sound Film Festival in Canada/USA in 2020, with additional nominations and finalist positions in various international film festivals.

Classic Rock Society magazine praised their music for its “deep thought and insular attention,” likening it to the spirits of Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart. The band's lineup includes Isabel Restrepo (voice), Daniel Díaz (guitar), Teo Dimitrov (drums), and Marco Felix (bass).
