Οι Σκωτσέζοι Hard Rockers εδώ βρίσκονται στο έκτο άλμπουμ τους. Τα κλασικά τους Razamanaz, Loud And Proud, Rambat έχουν χτίσει τη καριέρα τους κι εδώ μετά τη απογείωση πετούν πολύ ψηλά. Βάρος και μελωδίες συνυπάρχουν στα κομμάτια το δίσκου στον μέγιστο βαθμό. Η ομάδα των Dan McCafferty φωνή, Manny Charlton κιθάρες και συνθεσάιζερ, Pete Agnew μπάσο και Darrell Sweet στα ντραμς,  με το ομώνυμο Hair of the Dog που ξεκινά το μουσικό ταξίδι με το καλημέρα σε πιάνει απ' το λαιμό και μετά ακολουθεί μια πανδαισία με κομμάτια σαν τα  Miss Misery,  Changing' Times, Whiskey Drinking Woman, τη διασκευή στο Beggars Day των Crazy Horse, Please don't Judas Me. Και ειδικά στην επανέκδοση αυτή συμπλήρωμα με πολλά b' sides και ζωντανές εκτελέσεις στο BBC για να γίνει χορταστικότερο το πακέτο που ξεκινά με το εντελώς δρακρύβρεχτο αλλά κλασικό single και διασκευή από τους Everly Brothers, Love Hurts.

Unforgettable characters.

The Scottish Hard Rockers are here with their sixth album. Their classics Razamanaz, Loud And Proud, and Rampant have built their career, and here, after their takeoff, they are flying very high. Weight and melodies coexist in the tracks of the album to the fullest extent. The team of Dan McCafferty on vocals, Manny Charlton on guitars and synthesizer, Pete Agnew on bass, and Darrell Sweet on drums starts the musical journey with the title track "Hair of the Dog" that grabs you by the throat right from the start, followed by a feast of tracks like "Miss Misery," "Changin' Times," "Whiskey Drinkin' Woman," a cover of Crazy Horse's "Beggars Day," and "Please Don't Judas Me." Especially in this reissue, supplemented with many B-sides and live performances on the BBC, the package becomes even more satisfying, starting with the utterly heart-wrenching but classic single and cover of the Everly Brothers' "Love Hurts."
