Με γρίφους μιλάς γέροντα.

Όταν είχε κυκλοφορήσει και με την τότε πρώτη εμφάνιση τους επί ελληνικού εδάφους με support τους Bruce Dickinson & Adrian Smith, το είχαν παινέψει πέραν του δεόντως από το γνωστό και μη εξαιρετέο περιοδικό. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι είναι ένα σκαλί μετά το Youthanasia, τόσο μεταφορικά όσο και κυριολεκτικά. Μουσικά έχει να προσθέσει κάτι ακόμα. Ο ελαφρύς πειραματισμός, περισσότερο απ' ότι το περίεργο εξώφυλλο του άλμπουμ, περικλείεται στη μουσική. Με αρχικό τίτλο Needles And Pins , το τότε νέο project των Mustaine, Ellefson, Menza (RIP), Friedman τάραξε τα νερά. Ευχάριστα ή δυσάρεστα, είναι υποκειμενικό να πω. Μάλλον η ευθεία γραμμή συνεχίζεται με κομμάτια σαν Trust, Almost Honest, Mastermind, The Disintegrators, Sin, το κλασικό πλέον A Secret Place και τα She -Wolf, Vortex, Fff. ΟΚ, ένα πιο χαλαρό Youthanasia, το λες. Μόνο που ευθεία γραμμή θα γίνει τεθλασμένη πιο κάτω στο δρόμο τους!

Speaking in riddles, old man.

When they first made their appearance on Greek soil, supported by Bruce Dickinson & Adrian Smith, they were praised beyond measure by the well-known and inescapable magazine. The truth is, it's a step beyond Youthanasia, both figuratively and literally. Musically, there's something more to add. The light experimentation, more than the album's peculiar cover, is encapsulated in the music. Initially titled "Needles And Pins," the then-new project of Mustaine, Ellefson, Menza (RIP), Friedman shook things up. Pleasantly or unpleasantly, it's subjective to say. Perhaps the straight line continues with tracks like Trust, Almost Honest, Mastermind, The Disintegrators, Sin, the now-classic A Secret Place, and She-Wolf, Vortex, Fff. Okay, a more relaxed Youthanasia, you might say. Only that the straight line will become more troubled down their path!
