Το πιο ζωντανό άλμπουμ του Ιρλανδού μάγου.

Το τρίτο live άλμπουμ της τριάδας των Rorry Gallagher, Jerry McAvoy και Ted McKenna και επιστέγασμα της πιο Hard Rocking εποχής της μουσικής τους, της δεύτερης περιόδου ας πούμε που ξεκίνησε απ' το Calling Card του 1976 και συνέχισε με τα Photo-Finish (1978) και Top Priority (1979). Προσωπικά το αγαπημένο μου ζωντανά ηχογραφημένο άλμπουμ του μάγου της εξαχορδης ξεπατωμενης Fender Stratocaster με την ασυνήθιστη αμερικανική bluesy φωνάρα του. Ένα best of σε ζωντανή εκτέλεση με δέκα (οχτώ στο αρχικό βινύλιο με το παλιό εξώφυλλο) κοματαρες από το 1975 ως τότε. Τα κλασσικά Moonchild, Bad Penny, Shadow Play, Follow Me μέσα!... Ένα μόνο μείον: Λείπει το καρα-κλασσικό Philby, γιατί ρε παιδία; Γιατί;

The most dynamic album from the Irish maestro.

This marks the third live album in the trio comprising Rory Gallagher, Jerry McAvoy, and Ted McKenna, representing the zenith of their most Hard Rocking era. This phase, starting with the release of "Calling Card" in 1976 and continuing with "Photo-Finish" (1978) and "Top Priority" (1979), is arguably their second musical epoch. Personally, it stands out as my favorite live-recorded album from the virtuoso of the well-worn Fender Stratocaster, accompanied by his uncommonly rich American bluesy vocals.

It serves as a live best-of compilation, featuring ten tracks (eight on the original vinyl with the vintage cover) spanning from 1975 onwards. Classics such as "Moonchild," "Bad Penny," "Shadow Play," and "Follow Me" are all present! The only drawback: the notably absent "Philby," why, oh why?
