Αδικημένο κόσμημα.

Το δεύτερο σόλο μετά την ιστορία του με τους Iron Maiden για τον  Blaze Bayley, είναι ένα θεματικό άλμπουμ που σε σχέση με το προηγούμενο του Silicon Messiah (1999) είναι έτη φωτός μπροστά. Συνθετικά, στιχουργικά και από άποψη παραγωγής είναι είναι ίσως το πρώτο μεγάλο έργο του μετά το ομώνυμο Wolfsbane (1994) και το The X Factor με τους Iron Maiden (1995). Όπως κι αν είχε το Silicon Messiah ήταν μία κίνηση αντίδρασης στην κατάσταση που τον εξώθησε να φύγει από τους Maiden, με ο, τί αυτό συνεπάγεται. Εδώ ελεύθερος ο ίδιος ερμηνευτικά καθώς και η ομάδα των μουσικών του, δίνει πόνο πραγματικά.

Unsung Treasure

Blaze Bayley's second solo album after his tenure with Iron Maiden is a concept album that stands head and shoulders above his previous release, Silicon Messiah (1999). From a compositional and lyrical standpoint, as well as in terms of production, it ranks among his finest works, surpassing even his early triumphs with Wolfsbane (1994) and The X Factor with Iron Maiden (1995). While Silicon Messiah was a reaction to the circumstances surrounding his departure from Maiden, this album represents a true liberation of his artistic expression, both vocally and through the collaborative talents of his bandmates. It is a true masterpiece that deserves far greater recognition than it has received.
