In the end, persistence and passion yield their rewards. It's crucial to have a genuine love for your craft. There's no questioning the deep devotion and unwavering dedication of WARSHIP to classic heavy metal.

Their journey began in 2003, and they now mark two decades in the Greek heavy metal scene. They've released two demos, "Warship" (2004) and "Attack" (2006). They also independently launched "The First Wave" in 2006 and "The Second Wave" in 2010. In 2023, they joined forces with Sleaszy Rider Records, unveiling "The Third Wave" on November 3, 2023. This timeline underscores their enduring commitment to the classic heavy metal sound.

Over the years, WARSHIP has honed a distinctive and individualized sound. Influences from various sources, including the NWOBHM, American, and German metal scenes of the '80s, shape their music. Their song structures echo the directness of bands like DIAMOND HEAD and HOLOCAUST, while their melodies draw inspiration from WARLORD and IRON MAIDEN. The galloping sections harken back to RUNNING WILD's prime era, akin to "Under Jolly Roger." This album's straightforward arrangements maintain a diverse and unwavering listener interest from start to finish, underpinned by pristine and dynamic production.

Notably, some compositions like "Warship," "The Fall of the Empire," "Wake Up," and "The Great Warrior" previously featured in their first two demos, celebrating their remarkable 20-year journey in the Greek heavy metal scene.

In the world of heavy metal, a genuine passion must infuse the music, with immediacy and melodic character. These core elements shine brightly in this release, captivating traditional heavy metal enthusiasts. Despite extended intervals between their releases, WARSHIP has retained their unique style, maturing as musicians. They seamlessly blend maturity with enthusiasm, a commendable achievement.
