Φόρος τιμής σε πάρα πολλούς.

Οι μπάντα από το Οχάιο αυτή έχει λίγα χρόνια στη πλάτη της και αυτό είναι το δεύτερο πλήρες άλμπουμ τους, έχοντας κι ένα Ε.Ρ.

Κρίνοντας από το εξώφυλλο, βλέπεις που το πάνε το πράγμα μουσικά, ένα πολυσυλλεκτικό Power Metal κράμα, με πάρα πολλές επικές στιγμές. Ηχητικά δε μπορώ να τους κατατάξω στον αμερικάνικο ήχο, έχουν αρκετά Euro-power στοιχεία αλλά και απο την άλλη, σε μερικά σημεία καταλαβαίνεις ότι οι Manilla Road, οι Omen, οι Jag Panzer τους έχουν στοιχειώσει συνθετικά. Στα δέκα κομμάτια του Valkyrie, υπάρχουν στιγμές που θα ικανοποιήσουν τον φίλο τόσο του Epic, όσο και του Power Metal γενικά άρα μιλάμε για μια αξιόλογη προσπάθεια που σε κρατάει να ακούσεις όλο το CD. Ξεχώρισα το τρομερό Archangels, τα Dragon Blood, Prince Of The Moon, Saints & Heretics, Paradiso και το ομώνυμο Valkyrie. Πολύ ενθαρρυντική τέλος, είναι η  προσπάθεια να ακουστούν κάπως "cult" σαν παραγωγή. Δε ξέρω αν βγαίνει εσκεμμένα αλλά συγκαταλέγεται στα θετικά του δίσκου. Μακάρι να περάσουν από ευρωπαϊκά φεστιβάλ, θα ήταν πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα προσθήκη στα billing!

Paying homage to diverse influences, this Ohio-born band, with a few years behind them, presents their second full album, following a promising EP. The album cover hints at their musical trajectory — a dynamic fusion of Power Metal with a myriad of epic moments. Sonically, they defy easy classification within the American metal sound, skillfully blending in Euro-power elements. Yet, the ghostly echoes of Manilla Road, Omen, and Jag Panzer resonate in their composition.

Within the ten tracks of 'Valkyrie,' they navigate between realms that cater to both Epic and Power Metal enthusiasts, making this album a noteworthy effort that captivates from start to finish. Standout tracks include the monumental 'Archangels,' the enchanting 'Dragon Blood,' the regal 'Prince Of The Moon,' the riveting 'Saints & Heretics,' the celestial 'Paradiso,' and the eponymous 'Valkyrie.'

Adding to the appeal is their intentional pursuit of a somewhat 'cult' ambiance in the production, elevating the album's allure. Anticipation builds for their potential appearance at European festivals — a captivating addition sure to enhance any billing.
