This Pittsburgh/Cleveland-based death metal album is a real gem. As my first CD from this band, it exceeded my expectations. The standout features are the unique vocals, which deviate from the typical death metal growls with their intriguing fluctuations.

The musical composition is praiseworthy, with the band masterfully varying the intensity of their riffs, creating a captivating dynamic. This album can be described as a 'screamer' due to its diverse tempo changes.

While I wouldn't rate it as an 'A' album, it's undeniably good despite minor shortcomings. The album offers an atypical death metal experience with more highs than lows. The vocals shine, and the guitars complement them effectively.

The band excels in both live performances and studio recordings. They maintained a consistently interesting and entertaining 35-minute journey. Their approach to death metal is far from monotonous, thanks to tempo shifts, heavy down-picked guitar riffs, and impeccable production quality.

Hells Headbangers is a label known for signing underground bands, and Nunslaughter is a testament to their ability to bring forth intriguing metal albums. The album's production quality does justice to the band's sound, contributing to the growth of the underground music scene and the recognition of bands affiliated with the label.

Many bands on Hells Headbangers are gaining prominence, thanks to the label's commitment to quality and minimal flaws in their productions. Keep a close watch on this band and others on the label as they continue to earn the recognition they deserve.
