"The Tempter" represents FACTORY OF ART's second full-length studio album, following their initial debut onto the music scene approximately six years ago. During this time frame, the band introduced themselves with the release of their debut EP, "Point of No Return" in 1997 (as previously mentioned), followed by the 1999 demo titled "Story of Pain." This latest release not only marks their transition to a new record label but also signifies the conclusion of the band's initial phase.

Every musician aspires to evolve their sound with each subsequent release, aiming to enrich it without losing its distinctive character. FACTORY OF ART adeptly strikes this balance in their latest offering by retaining their signature sound elements while seamlessly incorporating fresh influences. This integration breathes new life into their compositions, infusing them with enhanced depth and diversity.

Delving into specifics, the band has injected more dynamic elements into their inherently melodic sound, resulting in an overall atmosphere exuding heightened theatricality and drama. Influences from iconic acts such as QUEENSRYCHE and SAVATAGE have left their mark, alongside a nod to the band's Germanic roots with the incorporation of elements from the Teutonic metal sound into select compositions. This release, I believe, successfully bridges the American and German metal schools.

Having immersed myself in their debut and EP, it's evident that this album represents the band's most substantial and mature work to date, bursting with enthusiasm and artistic inspiration. FACTORY OF ART has skillfully harnessed their influences and forged a crystal-clear artistic vision. In my estimation, this release stands as their magnum opus.
