NEUROTIC MACHINERY: A Loathsome Aberration

 

On July 15, 2022 the sixth album by the Czech tech-death metal band NEUROTIC MACHINERY was published! Entitled "A Loathsome Aberration", the album came out through Bizarre Leprous Production and is clearly one of the heaviest by the band.

NEUROTIC MACHINERY return after two years, bringing an album that continues in the direction of the previous one, "Nocturnal Misery". That means that the Czech band keeps elaborating on their "neurotic vision of death metal". "A Loathsome Aberration" respects and uses the traditional ingredients of death metal, as well as mixes them around, adding modern approach and an emphasis on technicality of play. Also, for the first time in the band's career, they present us a fully conceptual album, the theme being inner darkness, which fully corresponds with the instrumental part. Overall, "A Loathsome Aberration" is so far the darkest and heaviest material NEUROTIC MACHINERY have created.

The album art was created by a forefront Italian artist and painter, Paolo Girardi (Haunted Shores, Stortregn a dal?í). The band adds: "Paolo exactly and completely captured our vision for this album, giving life to our ideas. needless to say, we are incredibly satisfied with the outcome."

With a new material, the band also presents a new band logo, created by maestro Christophe Szpajdel (who has worked with for example Emperor and Moonspell).
