“Colors of Chaos” is the third album I get from this
very talented band from Austria. We are talking about a three piece band, the
drummer lady handles the vocals also that delivers alternative hard rock with a
great sound, ethereal vocals and excellent guitar work.
This album contains 12 tracks of a mix between radio
friendly college rock, alternative metal with a few touches of pop music and also
gothic rock. There are nice melodic guitar riffs, theatrical vocal parts and
intensive hard rock music, with mid tempo parts and a few ballads; everything
that comprises a rock music frame.
The lyrics on this album are mostly romantic, there
are a few social messages and of course the usual VIOLET SKIES melancholic
style. The production is very professional and clear and the musicianship is
exceptional as the band members are already experienced and know how to handle
their music into recordings.
So either if you are into pop, gothic or alternative music and you dig stuff
like THE CRAMBERIES, L7, EVANNESENCE, LACUNA COIL, TANITA TIKARAM and many
more, make an investment for your CD collection.
