Definitely a sounding like DEATH/OBITUARY mixed in there, this death metal act does a good job at keeping the listener entranced in awe of a slaughter of the eardrums.  The riffs here are faster and furious than their latest, "Devouring Mortality."  I like their latest a bit more, the production quality is better sounding and the instruments are more augmented.  This one is more of a death metal solely type of album whereas I think their latest was flirting more with melodic pieces.

British Heavy Metal band Lethal Gram released their debut EP «Potentially Lethal». The EP was self-produced and recorded almost entirely at home, with the exception of drums, which were recorded at "The Boogie Trap Recording & Rehearsal Studio". Mixed by Alex Kazhdan and Mark Roytman and mastered by Graham Bate.

Lethal Gram was formed in 2017 at London, England by Alex Kazhdan. In April 2018 the lineup was completed consisting of Graham Bate (bass, vocals), Ronnie Onu (guitar, vocals) Alex Kazhdan (lead guitar) and Mark Roytman (drums, cowbell) and the work on the debut album was began.

HADAL SHERPA is a 5 member instrumental prog rock band from Finland. They combine melody and complexity on this eight track album. They have a very sweet sound on the guitars, a tight rhythm section and a virtuoso keyboard player. There are a few bouzouki tunes playing on the tracks which enhances the sweetness of the guitar riffs I mentioned before. If you dig stuff like JETHRO TULL, PORCUPINE TREE, KANSAS, ASIA, DREAM THEATER and instrumental prog rock, this is the best choice for your collection. The package comes on digi pack edition and as I know it sells fast.

This is kind of a rehash to "Gateways To Annihilation" which was an outstanding album to say the least.  This one, I thought though was a little bit less of a great album than that because the riffs on the guitar were not as catchy nor do they either compare to old MORBID ANGEL circa David Vincent era such as "Alters of Madness" or "Covenant."  That was when MORBID ANGEL I think was at the top of their game when it comes to death metal releases and fresh music that's totally underground and fresh riffs.  On "Kingdom's Disdained" you don't get that vibe of the old band just "Gateways..."

Formed in Poland around the year of 1983 by Peter (front-man), VADER plays death/thrash metal that really hits home with their releases. This new one is their 12th full-length record! This one is definitely another good one going strong. With Peter mainly putting together the music, he never changes his vocals. They're always somewhat low-end grunting, but not excessively.  On here, there's no exception.

Kind of strange the line-up here it seems like there were more session members than actual members on the roster. Nevertheless, VADER just crushes once again with their unique songwriting style and HEAVY!  This one is uncompromising.

This California based band going back to the origin to where they were formed in 1990 have come a long way in writing a solid release here, probably one of their best. Even though I dislike the lead guitar on this record, I think that the rhythm outshines it and "glorifies" their sloppiness in the lead department.

Έχω διαβάσει πολλά βιβλία στη ζωή μου και πιστεύω ότι κάπου έχω αποκτήσει το ένστικτο ή το προαίσθημα πότε ένα βιβλίο είναι καλό. Ο "Σκοτεινός Αρκτικός" όχι απλά είναι ένα καλό βιβλίο, αλλά είναι φτιαγμένο από εκείνο το υλικό που δίνει σε δημιουργίες σαν αυτή τον χαρακτήρα του κλασσικού. Ένα βίαιο και ρεαλιστικό έργο πολύ καλά δομημένο γεμάτο δράση και χαρακτήρες που σε καμιά περίπτωση δεν σε αφήνουν αδιάφορο. Ένα βιβλίο που σαν κύριο θέμα έχει το κατά πόσο "πολιτισμένος" είναι ο δυτικός πολιτισμός και κατά πόσο "βάρβαροι" οι πιο πρωτόγονοι. Ο συγγραφέας σκιαγραφεί με αμείλικτο ρεαλισμό την σκληρή ζωή της φαλαινοθηρίας.

Ο Ian McGuire έχει το δικό του προσωπικό στυλ και χωρίς να θέλω σε καμιά περίπτωση να τον μειώσω, θεωρώ ότι στο παρόν βιβλίο καταφέρνει να μετουσιώσει με μοναδικό τρόπο τις επιρροές του από συγγραφείς όπως ο Χέρμαν Μέλβιλ, ο Ιούλιος Βερν, ο Έντγκαρ Άλαν Πόε, ο Άρθουρ Κόναν Ντόιλ και ο σύγχρονός του Στήβεν Κινγκ.

Εξαιρετικό.
