It is obvious that in our days musicians of every kind of genre are trying to find inspiration from the 70’s and the 80’s. I had, though, made some thoughts if the same exists in the classic rock sound. RED MORRIS come to answer this question with their album entitled “Lady Rose”. Red Morris is a guitarist who was born in 1966 and from his childhood has discovered that music fascinates him and especially the rock genre. After playing with so many cover bands he decided to create something of his own and the result of this is this album which I am more than happy to present to you.
THE COVER: It is really cool and it is what exactly I want to see on a rock album cover. It somehow describes the rock music which is loud and yet emotional. On the front a rock guitar is visible surrounded by different kinds of roses. On the back you can also see a forest. As I said above it is a beautiful cover.

MUSICAL STYLE: RED MORRIS plays rock music, but not the washed out kind that most of the music channels and radios in our era play. The rock sound of the band has roots back in the 70’s. It was the most creative era of this sound when musicians like SANTANA, Jimmy Hendrix and Ritchie Blackmore dominated the scene. Yes my friends RED MORRIS tries to recreate with his sound the music of that era and he doesn’t do only that. No! He explores this sound and gives it his own personal feeling. He even experiments with blues and jazz forms. The result of all this is a warm rock sound that is vivid, dynamic and emotional.         

CONCLUSION: You might think this as an exaggeration, but I really believe that if this album was released back in the 70’s it would make a sensation to the rock fans and it would be considered a cult or a classic in our days. I am happy, though, that this album was released in our days because it can show to younger people the true power of the music played by the heart and make the old rockers smile and think that their favorite music will never die.
