DEAD HUMAN FACTORY – Brutal Death Execution review

DEAD HUMAN FACTORY – Brutal Death Execution
Independent
Greece has a tradition in extreme metal and over the years it has given birth to a great deal of bands. One of the oldest that still remains around is DEAD HUMAN FACTORY hailing from Athens, Greece, formed in 1999 and still continuing its course. To be honest with you I thought they had called it quits since their previous release was a demo titled “International Net Corpses” in 2009.

Apparently, I was mistaken and in 2015 they strike back with their 8 track EP “Brutal Death Execution”. I guess the band name and the album title alone can give you a clear hint as to the genre these guys belong to in case this is your first acquaintance with the band. So, “Brutal Death Execution” is a fine example of how well the band can deliver brutal death metal which they enrich with plenty of grooves, but with no other experimentations or modern elements whatsoever. Their take on the genre is old school and straightforward, so you’ll get the chance to listen to brutal songs with intense rhythm sections, lots of double bass drumming and heavy, distorted guitars, while all this is accompanied by guttural vocals that sing about gore related themes like blood, butchery and lots of dismembering and disemboweling! I don’t think there is much more that a fan of groovy brutal death metal would expect from such a release. You can find here all you need to satisfy your head banging cravings. The last thing I’d like to mention is that this EP contains four new songs, two cover songs of SIX FEET UNDER’s “Impulse to Disembowel” and SEPULTURA’s “Slave New World”, along with two older songs of the band, “Hear our Shouts Loud and Clear” and “Cemetery Is Rotting”. I don’t need to say anything more… Support the Greek metal scene!
